In retirement, this industrialist’s mind remains focused on preserving our planet. Jean-Paul Koslowski thus embarked on a major project in 2019: to establish a means of transportation that would help reduce global warming.
And he can boast of having accomplished quite a feat. He designed a two-seater solar mini-car, equipped with two electric bikes. An extraordinary project that deserves to be seen.
Created by Jean-Paul Koslowski, a former engineer and travel enthusiast, Project 00 was born in 2019. This inventor set out to create an energy-efficient vehicle, as detailed in an article in the Journal du Centre.
At the end of this adventure, he designed a unique mini-car that runs on solar energy. Composed of two electric-assist bikes, this four-wheeler has a range of 40 km/h and can accommodate two passengers (weighing up to a hundred kilograms each).
It was obviously only after several attempts that the engineer succeeded in assembling his famous two-seater, in which he joined two electric bikes after removing the front forks.
Then he installed a wooden seat that resembles a sort of lounge chair with cushions inside. Once the comfort step was completed, Jean-Paul took care to integrate two 1500 W motors, a waterproof roof, and most importantly, photovoltaic solar panels to recharge the vehicle’s batteries.
