Let me tell you how my brother transformed this old chair.
He found it at a friend’s place and decided to give it a second life.
First, he removed the damaged parts with cutting pliers.
Then, he started making the new seat.
He cut the shape and added a solid wood finish around the edges of the plywood seat.
Next, he began sanding and covered the imperfections before applying the paint.
I helped him choose the colors.
I thought that the medium oak shade combined with a layer of black paint would be perfect.
After painting, he lightly sanded it to create a naturally aged look.
To enhance the color and give the chair a deeper look at the end, he applied wax.
As a result, we got a chair with an antique style, perfectly suited to our dining room.
