After buying a new bed for my son 🛏️, I didn’t know where to put his old crib 🍼. It had been sitting in a corner of his room 🏠for a long time.
I was already thinking of getting rid of it ❌, but my husband wouldn’t let me 🚫. He had a brilliant idea 💡 to transform it.

My son had grown, and I no longer knew where to put his crib.
There wasn’t much space in his room, so I decided to get rid of it.
My husband didn’t let me do that, saying he could transform it into an interesting bench.
He had all the necessary materials and just needed to give this crib a second life.
First, he removed the headboards and placed them vertically.
This created the side support of the bench.
To create the seat, he attached the bottom of the crib between them.
He installed the sides of the crib at the back to serve as the backrest.
After finishing the structure, he sanded the wood and painted the bench white.
To ensure it would last long, he applied varnish.
To make the bench more comfortable, I added cushions.
We decided to use this bench for our yard.
Every time I look at it, I smile because not so long ago, it was my son’s old crib, but thanks to my husband’s creativity, it has gotten a new life.
