Before getting married, an 18-year-old girl adopts 13 children and then introduces them to their new father

At the wedding of the heroine of this story, Katie Davis, there were special guests: her 13 adopted daughters from Uganda.

A few years ago, the young Kathy from Nashville, Tennessee, had a life that every girl could dream of.

She had won the prom queen title, drove a yellow convertible, wore designer clothes, and was dating a handsome young man.

Her parents expected her to go to college and receive a solid education.

But Kathy had other plans.

At the age of 18, the girl expressed her desire to go to Uganda for a charity mission.

Initially, it was thought that Katie wouldn’t spend more than a year in Uganda, but soon, she decided to stay there forever.

In 2008, Davis founded the organization Amazima, whose mission was to educate and provide all kinds of assistance to those in need in Uganda.

As a young, single woman, Katie was allowed to adopt a child. Over time, Davis adopted 13 girls.

“There are many stories about this unique moment when foster parents see their child for the first time and realize that they have been sent to them from heaven.

I was fortunate to experience this. And it seems to me that this feeling is much deeper than love,” Katie said.

Changes in her worldview helped her meet her soulmate. In 2015, Katie married a man named Benji Majors.

Katie’s 13 adopted daughters attended her wedding.

Today, Katie lives in the village of Jinja, on the shores of Lake Victoria, with her husband Benji and their 14 children.

During the day, she spends time with them, and in the evening, she performs administrative work for her organization.

The girl has also written the book “Kisses from Katie,” which became a New York Times bestseller.

Together with her family, she lives on a modest salary and income from the book.

Katie’s mother, Mary, visits her every year for a month.

She is happy to be the grandmother of 14 children. Of course, she wanted her daughter to graduate from college and receive a higher education.

But she understands that Katie has found her calling and supports her in every way possible.
