đŠ “Don’t go into the house and call your father immediately!” an unknown woman told me: my father had been dead for eight months, but when I dialed his old number out of curiosity, he answered. What he said left me speechless.
I was on my way home with my daughter when I felt someone grab my wrist. It was an elderly woman I had never seen before.
“Don’t go into the house. Call your father immediately.”
“Excuse me?” I said, confused, since my father had passed away eight months ago.
When I explained this, thinking she was confusing me with someone else, she screamed, staring at the windows of my house: “No, call him, and don’t go into the house!”
“My husband is waiting for me, let go of me!” I said, panicked.
“Your husband left the door open for them. He betrayed you. Call your father, he’s the only one who can help you.”
In shock, I took out my phone and dialed my father’s number, just to prove to her she was wrong.
To my great surprise, someone picked up. At first, I thought it was a joke, but hearing his voice, I immediately recognized my fatherâs voice. And what he said left me speechless.
