“Grandma says you don’t belong here,” my sister-in-law’s son said as he spilled his juice on me: when I saw my mother-in-law laughing at me in that state, I decided to teach her a good lesson

😦 “Grandma says you don’t belong here,” my sister-in-law’s son said as he spilled his juice on me: when I saw my mother-in-law laughing at me in that state, I decided to teach her a good lesson. There was one thing she didn’t know…

From the very first time we met, my mother-in-law never liked me. She thought I wasn’t good enough for her son, especially since I was a divorced woman with a 5-year-old daughter.

My husband told me to be patient and give her a chance because she wasn’t as bad as she seemed. But over time, her attitude toward me never changed. So I only visited her during holidays, and she also rarely came to our house.

The last time, we were gathered at her house to celebrate her birthday. Everyone was talking about their business, and everything was going normally until my sister-in-law’s son came up to me.

He spilled his juice on me and said mockingly, “Grandma says you don’t belong here.” He didn’t even try to pretend it was an accident.

I looked at my mother-in-law. She was smiling, proud of her grandson’s behavior.

“Grandma says you don’t belong here,” my sister-in-law’s son said as he spilled his juice on me: when I saw my mother-in-law laughing at me in that state, I decided to teach her a good lesson

I slowly stood up, my clothes still soaked, under everyone’s astonished gaze.

“You all think I don’t belong here…” I began calmly.

My mother-in-law gave a satisfied smile, probably thinking I was going to back down like usual.

“Grandma says you don’t belong here,” my sister-in-law’s son said as he spilled his juice on me: when I saw my mother-in-law laughing at me in that state, I decided to teach her a good lesson

But I continued: “During the past few months, when your son was going through financial difficulties that you know nothing about, I was the one paying the mortgage installments for this house. Every month. Without anyone knowing.”

The conversations stopped.

I looked her straight in the eyes.

“Grandma says you don’t belong here,” my sister-in-law’s son said as he spilled his juice on me: when I saw my mother-in-law laughing at me in that state, I decided to teach her a good lesson

“And despite that, this is how you treat me.”

I straightened up. “So today, it’s over. I won’t pay anything for you anymore. Ever again.”

And I left, never to return.
