đ˛ I was breastfeeding my baby on the beach when I noticed a woman filming me: I wanted to leave to avoid a conflict, but while I was gathering my belongings, something unexpected happened.
One day, I decided to go to the beach with my children. We settled down away from the crowds so that my baby could sleep peacefully, as he was only three months old. My daughter, meanwhile, was playing in the sand, trying to build a sandcastle.
When my baby woke up, he started crying. He was hungry, so I discreetly breastfed him under a blanket. I was sure that no one would pay attention to me.
Then, a woman approached me while openly filming me with her phone. I was shocked by her behavior, but that wasnât all. She said loudly:
â âThis kind of behavior is inappropriate. There are men here, go to the restroom to feed your baby.â
She spoke so loudly that everyone around us turned to look. I felt humiliated and decided to leave to avoid a conflict.
But while I was gathering my things to leave, something unexpected happenedâŚ
The continuation of my story is in the article in the first comment đđđ.
As I was folding my towel, a calm voice rose behind me:
â âMaâam, perhaps you should stop filming and leave this mother alone.â
I turned around and saw another woman sitting not far away who had witnessed everything.
Several people around us began to agree.
A man added that feeding a baby was a natural act and not something to be ashamed of.
The woman who had been filming me lowered her phone, clearly embarrassed by the reactions.
She muttered a few words before walking away.
I stood there for a few seconds, moved by the support of strangers.
My daughter took my hand and said: âMom, why were people being mean to you?â
I smiled at her and replied: âSometimes, people simply forget to be kind.â
