Atlas and I had been married for 17 years, and we had a 14-year-old daughter. We also had a golden retriever that I had always walked myself.

The strangest part was that he always came home in a better mood. When I asked him what was going on, he would smile and reply, “These walks help me unwind, honey.”

In one of the photos, Atlas was sitting in front of an unfamiliar house.

In another, he was holding a woman around the waist. That’s when I realized something was wrong.

The next day, I followed Atlas myself. I watched him meet the woman, hand her a bag, and hug her two children. One of them called him “Dad.” My heart shattered.

When I checked our bank account, I discovered that Atlas had transferred $18,400 to this woman, Morgan, over the previous eleven months.
