My son made me sit at a separate table during his birthday party because of my Parkinson’s disease: I wanted to leave the party when, suddenly, the unexpected happened

😦 My son made me sit at a separate table during his birthday party because of my Parkinson’s disease: I wanted to leave the party when, suddenly, the unexpected happened.

After my husband passed away, I raised my son alone. I worked hard to give him the life he deserved and did everything I could to make sure he received an excellent education.

Five months ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Since then, my tremors have become stronger and stronger each month. I could no longer hold a glass or a fork properly, and I was having more and more difficulty eating neatly.

My son knew about my illness, but he didn’t realize how much my condition had deteriorated. We lived in different cities and rarely saw each other.

For his 40th birthday, he had organized a big birthday dinner, and I was looking forward to attending.

But when his wife saw me, she seemed uncomfortable. During the dinner, my hands started trembling and, suddenly, I dropped my fork.

My son then asked me to sit at a separate table in a corner of the room.

All the guests continued laughing, talking, and having fun, while I remained alone, off to the side. I felt humiliated and deeply hurt. After everything I had done for my son, I couldn’t understand how he could treat me that way.

I even decided to get up and leave the party, but just as I was about to leave, the unexpected happened…

The rest of my story is in the article in the first comment 👇👇👇.

My son made me sit at a separate table during his birthday party because of my Parkinson’s disease: I wanted to leave the party when, suddenly, the unexpected happened

Just as I pushed my chair back, a voice stopped me.

It was my son, who approached me with tears in his eyes.

He explained that he had asked me to sit at that separate table not to hide me, but because he had prepared something for me.

He then took my hand and led me to the center of the room.

In front of all the guests, he explained that I was the woman who had raised him alone, sacrificed for him, and never abandoned him.

He added that he wanted to use his 40th birthday to show me that he was now ready to take care of me in return.

Then he announced that he had bought a small house adapted to my needs in his city, just a few minutes from his home, and that he wanted me to come and live there.

At that moment, I burst into tears.

I finally understood that what I had taken for humiliation had actually been a surprise my son had prepared for me.
