This morning, the driver was quietly following his route when, suddenly, he spotted something strange. In the middle of the road stood an elephant, accompanied by her calf. Both were motionless, as if waiting for something.
The driver slowed down, cautiously, and as he got closer, the elephant suddenly turned towards the bus. It seemed nervous. The driver had the impression that it was going to attack the vehicle.
The animal’s movements were aggressive, making it appear as though it was about to strike. Seeing this, the passengers began to panic. It was at that exact moment that the driver noticed a detail that sent chills down everyone’s spine…

After about two hundred meters, they arrived in a hollow where a male elephant, trapped in a snare, was groaning in pain.
The female elephant, futilely, was trying to free her companion, her trunk covered in blood.
Alerted, the passengers called for help.
In the meantime, they brought water for the elephant.
Later, veterinarians arrived and treated the injured elephant before transporting it to a specialized center.
Although seriously injured, it was able to survive.
