I’ve been traveling for ten years now, and during my flights, I’ve seen a lot of stories, but what happened on my last flight was particularly touching.

We were sitting quietly in our seats, and the plane was ready to take off. Ten minutes after departure, a man, around 35 years old, started crying loudly.

The flight attendant went over to him to ask what was happening. They talked for a few minutes. I don’t know what he told her, but she quickly ran to the cockpit.

All the passengers looked at each other, not understanding what was going on, and the man kept crying.

A few minutes later, the pilot spoke over the intercom: “Dear passengers, I’m sorry to announce that we must return to the airport, which will cause a 30-minute delay. There is a passenger among you who needs to get off. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

After this announcement, the plane turned back to the airport, and the man got off, thanking the flight attendant. It was a really strange situation.

Because of this man, our flight was delayed by 40 minutes, but when the flight attendant explained the situation to us, no passenger was upset. Everyone even applauded the pilot.
