đŻ The receptionist called security to kick the little dirty girl out of the hotel: but something very unexpected happened.
When the little girl, wearing dirty and torn clothes, entered the hotel lobby, the receptionist immediately noticed her. She walked up to her and spoke in a cold voice.
â Youâre in the wrong place.
The little girl replied softly:
â I want to see Mr. Delcourt.
â Mr. Delcourt is a very busy man. He has no time for you. Get out of here, the receptionist replied.
The girl insisted:
â But itâs important. I really need to see him. I have to give him something.
The receptionist sighed. She wasnât listening.
â Yes, sure⊠Now get out of here. Youâre ruining the hotelâs atmosphere.
Then she turned around and called security. Two guards arrived to escort her out, and then something very unexpected happened.
The rest of my story is in the article in the first comment đđđ.
The hotel manager quickly arrived in the lobby, alerted by the commotion.
He stopped suddenly when he saw the little girl surrounded by security guards.
His expression changed immediately when she pulled a crumpled envelope from her pocket.
â Itâs for you⊠from my mom, she said, trembling.
Silence fell over the lobby.
The manager took the letter, his hands slightly shaking.
He immediately recognized the handwriting.
He opened the letter, and as he read, his expression broke.
He looked up at the little girl, deeply shaken.
The truth hit him hard: the childâs mother had been a woman he once loved, a relationship he thought he had left behind.
The letter also revealed the key truth: the little girl was his daughter.
The manager slowly knelt down, unable to hold back his emotions, while security stepped back, not understanding what had just shaken the entire hotel.
