Nine years ago, Jaqi Clements gave birth to adorable twins. At first sight, she immediately knew her babies were destined for an extraordinary existence. Both parents were already in agreement on the sweet names for the twins: Avah and Leah.
In 2017, the fortunate mother decided to get seriously involved in her two adorable children’s careers. With her daughters’ consent, Avah and Leah signed with two modeling agencies. Child stars were born.
For the mother, choosing a life filled with castings was obvious, but skipping school was not an option. For the little girls with angelic smiles, it’s a mix of “catwalks” and schoolbooks.
Jaqi then had to deploy a whole logistics system to manage the twins’ early professional responsibilities. To accompany them to shoots, the mother drives two hours to Los Angeles, the city of endless possibilities.
If they have to miss school for castings, Jaqi carefully arranges for a tutor to help them with their homework.
The twins, with their busy lives, also dedicate themselves to their passions: dancing and singing. The parents of these child stars provide unwavering support, even if it means sacrificing their savings.
“Many parents think that having child models is a financial windfall. On the contrary, we spend huge amounts of money to help the twins achieve their dreams and live from their passion,” explains Jaqi Roberts.
