While exploring the area around the dam, the investigators found footprints leading to a steep cliff, located a few hundred meters away.
Although the terrain was difficult to access, they spotted torn pieces of clothing caught on bushes, which suggested the man had passed through this area hastily, possibly fleeing from an animal.
As they continued their search, they eventually found debris at the base of the cliff, where a fall seemed likely.
Among the fragments found, there were pieces of his gear, including a broken watch.
The analysis of the evidence confirmed the hypothesis: the man had indeed fallen accidentally from the cliff.
It was, therefore, a tragic accident.
