It all started three months ago. My husband had begun scratching his back because of a few spots that looked like simple insect bites. At first, we didn’t pay much attention to it, but over time, the spots became more and more numerous.
I started to think it was an allergy. He also felt unusually tired, but he said it was due to work stress. He refused to see a doctor, insisting it would go away. However, his condition kept getting worse.
One morning, while he was still asleep, I lifted his shirt to apply some lotion. I froze when I saw the state of his back.
It was covered in red, inflamed bumps. I woke him up and said, “If you refuse to go to the hospital, I will call emergency services.” In the end, he agreed to see a doctor.
