Kayzen, originally from Little Rock, a city in the United States, was an eight-year-old child.
The act of generosity by this young boy was truly extraordinary. Often, Kayzen would have breakfast at a Waffle House, where he got to know a waiter named Devonte.
Devonte was a friendly young man, always smiling, and a father of two children.
Kayzen discovered that his friend’s family did not have a home and that he, his wife, and their two daughters were living in a cheap motel.
The café waiter, with a radiant smile, also needed a car to commute to work but didn’t have the means to buy one.
Kayzen decided to help his kind friend. He came up with the idea to start a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to gather funds for his friend and favorite waiter.
The child shared his project with his mother, Victoria Hunter, and she supported her son, stating it was a great idea.
Initially, their goal was to raise $5,000, but after five days, the GoFundMe fundraiser reached over $11,000.
“I hope your heart is as big as mine, and that you’ll help me spread kindness in the world,” said the young boy.
The eight-year-old wrote that Devonte was the happiest and most positive person he had ever met. He wished his friend to continue greeting everyone with his big, adorable, and captivating smile.
