This couple, both with Down syndrome, claims they were “meant to be together.” Moreover, they almost met several times.

Knowing they both live in Cheshire, England, in Runcorn, they are members of the same gym and even attended a gymnastics competition together before fate finally decided to bring them together.

Leah and Andrew Taylor finally realized they were truly destined to be in a love story when they became close within the inclusive group “Ella Performance” in 2013.

When Leah accepted his marriage proposal, everyone was eager to celebrate the big day. Unfortunately, the couple had to postpone the wedding several times due to the pandemic.

Until the opportunity finally presented itself: the ceremony was to be held at All Saints Church in Daresbury, with a small group of about thirty guests.

Surrounded by their loved ones, the future newlyweds chose an original theme for their big day: “Alice in Wonderland.” Needless to say, the enchantment was present!

Music also played an important role: Andrew recorded a version of his favorite song, “Beautiful In White” by Westlife, which was played as they left the church, while Leah wished to walk down the aisle to the beautiful piece “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri.
