I am a manager at a café, and that day was my last working day before my vacation. I only had to work for a few hours before my flight.
Suddenly, a homeless man entered the café and asked for a cup of coffee. He looked exhausted, and his clothes were worn out.
One of the waitresses came to me and told me that he had chosen the most expensive coffee on the menu, saying that it was his birthday.
I told the waitress to serve him whatever he wanted, along with a piece of cake, and that I would pay for it. He took his coffee, ate his cake, thanked me, and left. I thought that was the end of the story.
A few hours later, when I was already settled in my seat in first class on the plane, I was surprised to see him again. This time, he was well-dressed and seemed much more confident. I even started wondering if it was really the same man.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw him on the plane, but the surprise didn’t stop there.
