My son Alex is nine years old, and he loves building sandcastles. He can spend hours on the beach creating sand kingdoms without ever getting bored.
Before my husband’s tragic accident, Alex often built castles with his father, while my daughter and I preferred swimming and enjoying the sunshine. But after his father passed away, Alex lost his joy for life. He no longer wanted to go back to the beach.
