Upon discovering that Hyrum is a huge fan of Maui from the movie Moana and watches it nearly ten times a day, Johnson decided to boost his spirits by sending him a heartfelt video where he also sang a line from the song “De rien.”
The artist was certain that his video message would bring a smile to the little one’s face. After receiving the inspiring video from Johnson, young Hyrum was greatly moved.
The child’s parents, April and Rich Harris, who have six other older children, were amazed by the actor’s kindness and stated that their son watched the video with great affection.
The mother of the child also stated that her family found the video message extremely touching.
This loving gesture towards the three-year-old child was touching for the Harris family. A GoFundMe page for Hyrum was started to assist the family in covering medical expenses.
