One day, my husband announced that he was going to prepare dinner. He told me it would be a special dinner and that he would spend the entire day in the kitchen to make us happy.
At first, it didn’t seem strange to me because he enjoys cooking and occasionally makes us meals. This time, he had prepared chicken with rice and a special sauce.
My son and I were eating, but he didn’t touch his plate. I thought he just wanted to observe our reactions before starting to eat.
