You undoubtedly remember the most famous Orient Express train, the first huge luxurious train that traveled for a long time among the countries of Europe, from Paris to Constantinople.
It was built by the Wagon Company in 1883. The train traveled around the world for 94 years.
It has motivated novelists and filmmakers and popular works like James Bond, Hercule Poirot and others have often been noted in the films of this famous convoy.
The convoy compartments are located in the station of Dracy-Saint-Loup in Burgundy which was built in 1882.
An American, named Greg Marshall, made his dream come true by transforming the train carriages into a chic hotel.
He therefore called this marvel The Hotel of the Train of Dreams. The man also restored the station which welcomes people into a hotel-restaurant.
The train consists of several single and also double cabins. The first will cost 75 euros per night and the second only 95 euros.
The compartments are fully restored and well equipped of a modern type. In each cabin there is a sink with hot and cold water.
The whole reconstruction is modern and beautiful. The cabin restaurant has not been modified but simply rebuilt.
The decoration and furnishings remained the same. Marshall only renovated the interior of the station. He tried to keep the old style.
