😦 An eagle was standing in front of our door, as if asking for help. When I followed it with my dog, what I discovered left me speechless.
One morning, as I was calling my dog to go for a walk, he didn’t come. Worried, I went to find him, and that’s when I saw him, there, in front of the back door. On the other side of the glass, an eagle was staring at him intensely.
At first, I didn’t know how to react. I stood there, observing, for a few minutes. The eagle didn’t seem aggressive at all; it just kept staring at us. Then, slowly, it moved away from the door, but continued to watch us. I decided to open the door. My dog and I stepped outside into the yard.
The eagle moved a little farther away, but kept watching us, turning its head from time to time to make sure we were following. Curious to see where it wanted to lead us, I followed it. Gradually, we moved farther away from the house, and the eagle kept checking to make sure we were keeping up.
We were already deep in the forest when the eagle stopped. It turned toward us, as if to signal that we had arrived at our destination.
What I saw at that moment literally left me speechless…

I spotted another eagle trapped in a mud pit.
It seemed exhausted and unable to free itself.
I didn’t hesitate for a second.
I reached out and helped the eagle get out of the mud.
I gently carried it back to the house, where I placed it in a large tub of warm water to clean it.
After a long bath, it regained some strength.
Once it was dry, I took it near the other eagle, which was waiting for it in the yard.
Since that day, they sometimes come to play in our yard with my dog, before flying away again.
