Mason and Charlotte met at the cinema. She was working as a ticket inspector, and Mason was coming to watch a movie. He asked her out, and that’s how they started dating. Soon they got married.
She came from a troubled family. His parents drank a lot and didn’t work. Additionally, there were three other children in their family. Their parents received government assistance, but they wasted the money. Maria didn’t know how to do anything around the house, but Mason didn’t complain. He tried to teach her everything.
Nine months later, their daughter was born. Maria struggled to care for herself, and she struggled to manage the baby, often raising her voice. Mason was trying to explain to his wife that she shouldn’t behave this way around the children. But Maria ignored his words. One day, Mason came home, and the two, Maria and the child, were missing.
There was a note on the kitchen table: “No need to look for us. I found the love of my life. We left to join him. » Mason was distraught. He called all his friends, visited his parents, but she was nowhere to be found.

She loved her father very much and did not ask questions about her mother. Mason decided not to remarry because he believed another woman would not accept his daughter as her own. They lived together, just the two of them, knowing nothing more about a family.
