We continued our leisurely walk. Suddenly, my dog abruptly turned around and started running full speed. At first, I was surprised and didn’t immediately understand what was going on.
He left me behind, charging off into the darkness. It was strange because he usually follows me without ever getting too far ahead.

In the distance, I saw a dark figure moving near the forest that borders the city center.
It was a bear, which had ventured closer to the city than I would have ever imagined.
That’s when I understood why my dog had suddenly started running so fast.
He had spotted the bear before I did and had gotten scared.
The bear seemed to be wandering, just as confused as we were, and didnāt appear to be aggressive.
But after seeing the creature, my instincts kicked in, and I started running as fast as my dog.
Adrenaline surged through me, and I rushed to catch up with him, hoping the bear wouldnāt follow us.
Fortunately, after a few minutes of frantic running, the bear disappeared into the shadows.
My dog, still nervous, began to slow down, and we were able to continue our walk, much more cautious but also somewhat relieved to have escaped an unexpected encounter.
