The beauty that surrounds us can present itself in many facets, and this is particularly the case when it comes to the beauty of the human body. Each person’s vision of beauty is unique and changes depending on a number of criteria.
Thus, this phenomenon of parallelism between the diversity of perceptions and that of preferences and styles sometimes allows us to discover new forms of beauty that are simply out of the ordinary.
Our attention was attracted by a mannequin that looks like a real living doll. We’re talking about Nyadak Duckie Thot, a charming young black woman.
She shone in her sector and her photos appeared on the front page of more than one famous magazine. But in 2017, an unusual event happened.
She reappeared in a photo titled “Duckie_After_Dark,” where she looked almost exactly like a Barbie doll. The resemblance was so obvious, given the sharpness of the photo, that many people wondered if it was a real woman or a doll.
The mystery of this image lies in the fact that it was taken as part of a series of photographs entitled “Barbie Style”, which obviously enjoyed great interest.
Having obtained 3rd place in the 8th season of Australia’s next model, the young Australian-Sudanese went to NY with the aim of making herself known and focusing solely on her vocation as a model.
A sublime face, pretty skin, big eyes and a completely remarkable physique, that’s what helped her establish herself.
The tone of the young woman’s skin can change depending on the light, due to the presence of melanin pigments throughout her body. Thus, the color of its skin can vary from brown to dark black.
As there are hundreds of photos of Duckie on the internet and she is always different, many admirers have difficulty realizing that it is indeed the same person in each photo.
In 2017, she faced harassment because of the color of her skin and hair.
She replied: “As a black woman, I want to inform you that we have never really been taught to take care of our hair, but on the contrary to hide it.”
She adds that the rare women who have succeeded in showing the beauty of black women in its true light are the Youtubers who have succeeded in bringing down this curtain.
She believes that the industry will soon realize this and put an end to the disturbing rigidity of existing beauty standards and promote the appreciation of beauty in all its different forms.
