From time to time, my mother-in-law prepares a delicious dinner and invites the whole family. My 6-year-old son loves these moments because he spends a lot of time with his cousins. Being the youngest, he is always the center of attention.

Last Sunday, as usual, we were all gathered together as a family. My mother-in-law had once again prepared an amazing feast, far beyond our expectations. Everyone was complimenting her.

Meanwhile, my son was listening attentively as everyone took turns speaking. He then decided that he also needed to say something. He stood up on his chair so that everyone could see him and said: “I also really like Grandma’s meals.”

Then, he turned to my mother-in-law and, with childlike innocence, asked her: “Grandma, should I tell what you and grandpa do when you’re alone in your room?”

My mother-in-law froze in place and dropped her spoon. Everyone felt a little uncomfortable. I rushed over to get him off his chair and stop him from talking, not knowing what he was going to say, but I couldn’t stop him in time.
