š¦ I agreed to marry a 60-year-old man just to save my family, without imagining what would come next.
At the time, I was 21 years old. I had just completed my studies with flying colors and received a scholarship, but my family was in financial trouble. We had debts, and my brother needed an expensive operation that we couldnāt afford.
Everything seemed to be falling apart around us. While we desperately searched for a solution, a friend told me about a 60-year-old man.
He was willing to offer me a marriage without love, in exchange for financial help to settle the family debts and fund my brotherās surgery.
Given the disastrous situation my family was in, I decided to meet with him.
This man made me an offer: he would pay off all our debts and cover the cost of the surgery, on the condition that I marry him. After much consideration, I accepted, but I set one condition: my family must absolutely not know about this arrangement.
So, I married this man, convinced that it would save my family. But I had no idea what trials this decision would bring into my life.
The rest of my story is in the article in the first comment ššš.
My life with Arthur was surprisingly peaceful.
Although we lived separately, I was always involved in managing his foundation and renovating his house.
He encouraged me in my studies and even helped me apply for higher education.
In return, I breathed life into his house and the projects he cherished.
Over time, our relationship evolved.
At 25, Arthur gave me a letter in which he expressed his gratitude for everything I had done for him and his legacy.
Five years later, Arthur passed away, but not before seeing his foundation thrive thanks to our joint efforts.
After his death, I took the helm of the foundation and, in his honor, I founded a wellness center for children.
