😲 I agreed to pretend to be the boyfriend of a stranger, and what she told me after I helped her left me speechless.
I was sitting in the cafeteria of an airport, waiting for my flight, when a blonde, elegant, and very beautiful woman approached me. She asked me where I was headed, then calmly said, “Could you pretend to be my boyfriend, just for one day?”
At first, I thought it was a joke, so I asked, a bit surprised, “Sorry?” It took me a few seconds to realize she wasn’t kidding.
“I know this sounds absurd, but please, it’s very important. I’ll explain everything while we wait for the flight,” she added.
We sat down to talk, and after taking a deep breath, she told me her story:
“My father is very strict. He gave me two months to find a husband, or else I won’t be able to take over his company after he steps down. I had a boyfriend, I was supposed to introduce him to my parents today, and we were supposed to get married in a month. But at the last minute, he left me.”
She explained that, if I agreed, I would just have to play the role of the boyfriend for one day. Afterwards, she would say I had important meetings and couldn’t stay.
She was really beautiful, and after listening to her story, I decided to help her. Everything went well during the flight, but what she told me after landing left me speechless.

“I lied to you… Actually, I was running away from my father. He forced me to agree to marry the son of one of his friends, a man I despise.”
She looked down, clearly embarrassed, then continued:
“I’m sorry I manipulated you, but I was desperate. My father’s men were searching for me everywhere, and I thought that if they were looking for me, they wouldn’t pay attention to couples.”
A heavy silence fell between us.
I was speechless, caught between surprise and empathy.
She really seemed trapped in a situation she hadn’t chosen.
Before I could even respond, she quickly walked away, disappearing into the crowd.
I stayed there, a bit stunned, reflecting on everything she had just confided in me.
