😦 I found this object in the closet of our new house, and I was surprised to discover what it was.
After moving into our new house, I decided to do a big cleaning. When I opened a closet, I spotted a strange object. It was only a few centimeters in size and seemed soft, but in reality, it was hard and sharp.
It was firmly stuck both to the metal shelf and to the wooden panel above. Curious and a bit puzzled, I couldn’t figure out what it could be.
I took a photo and sent it to my husband, hoping he might have an explanation. He was on his way and asked me to wait a bit.
When he finally arrived, he simply removed the object and showed me what it was. I was totally surprised. I had considered all sorts of hypotheses in my mind, but in reality, it was…

It’s just a dog ball.
At first, I never thought it was that.
The object, so hard and sharp, looked like something much more mysterious.
But after taking a closer look, I realized.
It was a rubber ball, a bit old and worn out, probably left there by the previous owners.
It had gotten stuck between the metal bars of the shelf and the wood, making it almost impossible to detect at first glance.
I never imagined that something so simple could cause such confusion.
A dog ball, stuck and deformed by time, which seemed to be a much more complex mystery.
A rather funny discovery in the end, but it really made me laugh.
