When I found out I was pregnant, I was really happy. We already had three daughters, and my husband had been dreaming of having a son for a long time.

A few days before my due date, I started experiencing intense pain, and I was rushed to the hospital in an emergency.

During the delivery, I felt like something wasn’t right. My doctor seemed more worried than usual, but he reassured me, telling me to stay calm, that everything would be okay.

However, after the delivery, he told me that they hadn’t been able to save the baby. The sadness and pain I felt upon hearing that news were indescribable. My husband, who was by my side, simply whispered that it wasn’t my fault before leaving the room.

A few moments later, my daughter entered and asked me: “Mom, do you want to know what really happened?” What she revealed to me completely shattered me.

After that, I took my daughters and, without another word, we left my mother-in-law’s house.

I knew it was time to turn the page, distance ourselves from this toxicity, and rebuild a healthy, loving home, away from this manipulation.
