This morning, I noticed strange marks on my car. It was the first time I had ever seen something like that, and it scared me.
I had no idea which animal could have left such marks, and the thought that it could be inside the car horrified me. I took a photo of the marks and sent it to my brother and a few friends, hoping they could help me figure out what it could be.
I even posted the photo on my social media, hoping for a quick response. Well, the answer came quickly. Several people online, as well as one of my friends, quickly explained what it was.
I was in for a big surprise because I definitely didnāt expect that.

One of my friends called me and said, laughing: āBut those arenāt scratches, stop worrying! Those are marks from a tree frog.ā
I was speechless.
He explained that these frogs have suction cups at the tips of their fingers, which allow them to easily cling to smooth surfaces like glass.
When they move, they leave behind damp marks or fine traces as they dry, exactly like the ones I was seeing on my windshield.
At that moment, I felt both relief and astonishment.
Relief because it wasnāt a dangerous animal, and astonishment because I never would have imagined that a simple frog could leave such a signature.
