Jambulat Khatokhov was born in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The newborn was a normal child, measuring 50 centimeters and weighing 3 kg.
However, some time later, the boy started to gain weight, and by 12 months, he already weighed 17 kg, doubling the normal weight.
Subsequently, the parents and doctors began to worry as something strange was happening with the child.
In 2003, when Jambulat was 3.5 years old, he was listed in the record book as the world’s heaviest child.
At that time, he weighed 48 kg and wore size 32 shoes.
During his school years, things became challenging. Hormones started to manifest strongly, and the boy needed a girlfriend.
To get rid of the excess weight, he started engaging in sports, following a diet, and finding a good coach.
After all the efforts, he achieved a good result: weighing less than 70 kg.
Continuous training exhausted the boy. One day, he decided to consult a doctor who prescribed him a medication.
Losing weight was challenging for the boy, so he decided to visit a doctor who prescribed him a medication that would contribute to faster weight loss.
On December 28, 2020, Jambulat Khatokhov’s lifeline was cut.
According to relatives, it was the weight-loss medication that became the cause of his demise.
