Look at how my husband transformed this old vanity into a modern piece of furniture in just a few days

✨ I found this vanity online. It was priced at $50, and I bought it knowing that my husband could transform it into an ultra-modern piece of furniture.

He is particularly talented at these kinds of projects 🔨, and even the most worn-out furniture becomes true works of art in his hands. It took him only a few days to complete this transformation, and once again, he managed to surprise me as always 😲.

I’m sharing the process as well as photos of the final result in the article of the first comment below 👇👇👇.

Since the veneer was in bad shape, he removed it first.

To remove the veneer, he used heat, and that was the most unpleasant part of the transformation process.

I’m sure there are other methods, but this one worked well.

Next, he started the sanding process, which gave the wood a fresh look.

He carefully stained the vanity using a stain that defines the grain.

Due to the variation in wood types, this resulted in a color variation.

He followed the same steps for the top part that supports the mirror.

In the end, he applied four coats of high-quality satin-finish polyurethane.

I really liked the final result.

I never imagined that this old vanity could have such a shine.

It was exactly what I had in mind, and I was really happy with the result.
