š¦ My daughter gave her teddy bear to a biker and said something that made him cry.
After the divorce, I decided to start a new life in another city with my five-year-old daughter. On the way, we stopped at a gas station to fill up.
Thatās where my daughter spotted a group of bikers. Curious, she asked if she could go say hi, but before I could even answer, she ran toward them.
I stayed back and watched. She went straight to one of the bikers ā the biggest one in the group. They exchanged a few words, and then I saw his face change. When she handed him her teddy bear, he knelt down⦠and started crying.
I was stunned. This huge man was sobbing like a child. I had no idea what my daughter could have said to trigger such emotion.
When she came back to me, I asked what had happenedā¦
The rest of the story was in the first comment ššš.
When she came back to me, I asked what she had said to the biker.
She shrugged, like it was obvious.
āHe looked sad, so I gave him my teddy bear. I told him that when Iām sad, she hugs me tight and I donāt feel so alone.ā
The biker had gotten back up, holding the teddy bear close like a treasure.
Seeing me looking, he walked over.
In a trembling voice, he said: āMy son⦠he had a teddy bear just like that. He passed away last year. Your daughter⦠she told me that now itās my turn not to be sad anymore.ā
I couldnāt say a word.
I just nodded, heart in my throat.
In that suspended moment, a simple gesture from a child had healed a pain no words could ever soothe.
