😦 My daughter started playing with my wife’s high heels and lipstick, but this innocent game ended up revealing a lie she was hiding.
What’s incredible about life is that it can change in an instant. You think you know the person you’re living with until one day a truth comes to light and changes everything.
That’s exactly what happened to me. It all started when my 5-year-old daughter decided to wear my wife’s high heels and lipstick. It seemed like a simple game, and I laughed when I saw her like that.
She looked so funny in those shoes, way too big for her. She wanted to look like my wife and asked me if she should add anything else to be just like her.
She did this while my wife was away, and I would always tell her she needed to ask permission before touching her mom’s things.
One day, she told me: “Mom said I could wear her lipstick.” Then she added something that left me speechless.
The rest of my story is in the first comment below 👇👇👇.
“Mom said I could wear her lipstick when I go to her other house.”
“That one with the pink couch. She said I could go there when I’m older.”
A cold shiver ran down my spine.
“And when did Mom tell you this?”
“Last week,” she replied happily.
“When she came back from her trip. She said I couldn’t go there yet because the man who lives there doesn’t even know I exist.”
I decided to confront my wife.
After a heavy silence, she finally admitted, “Yes, I have another man, but I never wanted to hurt you.”
The shock was brutal, and even though I still loved her, I knew that the trust was broken.
After a sleepless night, I made my decision: I would leave with my daughter, far away from this lie.
