😲 My dog was acting strangely and wouldn’t let anyone approach his kennel. I was surprised to discover what he was hiding inside.
I have a dog that is generally calm and friendly. Whenever my kids or I go out into the yard, he rushes over to play with them. He can play for hours, and when the kids go back inside, he usually heads straight to his kennel.
One day, while playing with the kids, he noticed that my son was heading toward his kennel. He ran over and stopped him from getting too close.
Another day, when I approached, he even started barking at me, which was really odd because he had never behaved that way before.
I started to get worried. He was becoming aggressive every time someone came near his kennel. I thought there might be something inside that he didn’t want us to see.
One day, while he was asleep in the yard, I took the opportunity to check his kennel. You can’t imagine what I found inside.

Inside the kennel, there were two small white bunnies, so cute.
They were snuggled together.
They looked so fragile and innocent, their big eyes a little scared by the sudden intrusion.
I was stunned! How could they have ended up there?
My dog, who had always been gentle with animals, had been protecting them, hiding them from anyone who came near.
It was as if he had taken his role as “guardian” very seriously.
I sat there for a while, watching.
