It was a perfect day, everything was going as I had imagined. We had chosen a restaurant with a beautiful garden for our photo session.
The garden was stunning, and the atmosphere was magical. It was time to take a family photo, and when the photographer asked my in-laws to join us, my father-in-law pretended to be on the phone and walked away.

I’m not sure how, but my husband had found out that his father had been living a double life for years.
He had a second family, with a woman and children he saw on the other side of the city, far from the eyes of his loved ones.
