😲 My husband, my son, and my sister were taken to the emergency room, all unconscious. The doctor prevented me from seeing them, and what he told me deeply shocked me.
Night shifts are always chaotic. I was in the middle of my shift when one of the nurses informed me that my husband, my sister, and my son had been brought to the emergency room, all unconscious. She mentioned a possible poisoning. I froze for a moment, then stood up so quickly that my chair slid across the floor.
I rushed down the hallway, and the automatic doors of the emergency room opened before me. There, I saw them. They were lying on stretchers, pale under the harsh emergency room lights.
I wanted to run to them, but someone grabbed me by the arm.
“You can’t see them now,” one of the doctors said.
“They’re my family, that’s my son!” I shouted, desperate.
The buzzing in my ears was preventing me from hearing his voice clearly.
“The police are already on their way. You can’t see them until they arrive,” he replied calmly.
He asked me to follow him to his office, and what he revealed to me shook me deeply.

He told me that the doctor had found a note in our house with my name on it.
The note said: “They didn’t fall by accident.”
When the detectives arrived, they showed me a piece of paper supposedly written in my handwriting: “I can’t take it anymore.”
I immediately denied writing it.
