Recently, my son and I moved into a quiet neighborhood where everything seemed perfect. As soon as we arrived, the neighbors came to welcome us with small gifts.
They were all very kind, and I had a very positive impression. I was convinced that this place would be our final home, and that I would never have to move again.
One day, my son came home holding a box in his hands. He then said, “Look at what Mr. Carson gave me!” Before allowing him to open the box, I asked who Mr. Carson was.
He replied, “You remember, yesterday, we saw a tall man in the park? That was him.”
I thought he was just a slightly peculiar neighbor, but something about him seemed strange to me.
Curious, I started opening the box. What I discovered inside literally shocked me. After this incident, I made the decision to move.
