😦 My son had given me a box of chocolates, and when I told him that I hadn’t eaten them and that I had given them to his children, he yelled, “What did you do?”
For my 69th birthday, my son had given me a box of chocolates from the most renowned chocolatier in the city. They were so beautiful that I decided to give them to my grandchildren, who love sweets. They ate them with great pleasure.
A few hours later, my son called to ask if I had enjoyed the chocolates. It seemed a bit strange to me, because usually, he forgets his gifts as soon as he gives them.
So I simply replied, “They were too beautiful to eat alone, so I decided to give them to your children. You know they love sweets.”
At that point, my son exploded in anger: “What did you do? Are you crazy? Have the kids already eaten them?” And he hung up.
I stood there completely frozen, not understanding why he was reacting that way. It wasn’t until later that I found out the reason, and it deeply shook me.

My son arrived at my house, looking visibly worried.
He explained that the children had just been diagnosed with a chocolate allergy.
