One of my colleagues was always taking my milk without asking… Here’s what I did to find out who it was

😦 One of my colleagues was always taking my milk without asking… Here’s what I did to figure out who it was.

I’m allergic to dairy products, so I always bring my own milk to work. One day, I noticed that a little was missing from the bottle. Someone had taken it without even asking.

At first, I didn’t pay much attention. Maybe the person didn’t even know it was mine, and sometimes people borrow a little without thinking.

Over time, it started happening more and more frequently. Every time I bought a new bottle, it was half-empty by lunchtime.

I asked my colleagues, but everyone seemed surprised. “It’s not me,” they said, but I was starting to get annoyed.

It wasn’t that someone was taking my milk, but that it was being done without even asking. I was always open to sharing, but the sneaky taking was bothering me.

So I decided it was time to find out who the culprit was. Here’s what I did to solve this mystery.

I came up with a simple but effective idea.

I took a bottle of milk as usual, but this time, I added a drop of red food coloring.

A small amount was enough to mark the milk without making it too noticeable.

Of course, I labeled the bottle to make sure it was mine, so no one could claim it was a mistake.

The next day, I went to the lunch break, and as expected, my milk was gone.

But this time, I was ready.

By carefully watching my colleagues around the coffee machine, I saw someone pour a cup of coffee with… red milk.

It was Marc, a colleague who always seemed to be in a rush, always by himself, and who had been taking my milk without a word.
