Her first pregnancy, when Satu was 21 years old, ended in a miscarriage and emotional breakdown.

This determined man had come from Uruguay to Europe and had made a name for himself as a professional civil engineer.
Andreas not only earned recognition from his superiors but also won the heart of Satu, a young Finn.
For two years, her husband and the doctors struggled to keep Satu, diagnosed as infertile, in good health.
In addition to the physical trauma, the stress related to the loss of her first child prevented her from ovulating. Doctors tried to restore a normal menstrual cycle with hormonal therapy.
