Every child has dreams at the age of 3. For example, Tracker Dukes wants to become a firefighter, just like his father.
However, the little boy stopped dreaming about achieving his dream when cancer was discovered in him.
Because of this, he became weak.
The boy has been living with this illness for a year and a half. He spends all his time in the clinic.
His family left Hawaii for New York for proper treatment.
One day, Jim Grismer, a volunteer and firefighter, decided to visit the clinic to see the 3-year-old boy.
Upon seeing him, the child rushed towards him and gave him a tight hug.
“I suddenly noticed a little one who definitely ran towards me. Then I opened my arms, he hugged me.
It felt like we had known each other for years,” Jim recalls.
After learning that the child dreamed of becoming a firefighter, Jim enrolled him in his group.
The little one’s career was a success. The boy’s mother was very touched by it all.
