At Crawley, in England, United Kingdom, a gentle Doberman named Tommy wanted to bond with the owners’ baby.
Generally, Doberman Pinscher dogs are known for their strength and efficiency in combat, but deep down, they are still dogs and love humans.
The baby’s room surveillance camera showed how Tommy brought his favorite toys to the baby. But of course, he wasn’t trained for that. He did it simply because he thought the toys would make the little one happy.
But it is quite possible that the adorable pooch was trying to convince the infant to throw the ball, just like his owner does. In this case, one can realize they are already very good friends.
However, Tommy’s kind gesture was not a coincidence. As seen in the video, the dog’s tail was not docked. It is a common practice to dock the tails of Dobermans.
So, the owners were kind to Tommy. In turn, the four-legged friend was kind to everyone.
According to Tommy’s owner, he was trained to stay at home, swim, and play with other dogs.
But after the baby was born, he preferred to watch over and play with him. With such an intelligent companion, the baby is sure to have an extraordinary childhood.
This demonstrates that kindness is reciprocal in the animal kingdom.
