The birth started too early. Emma lost consciousness in the operating room, and when she woke up, she only heard one thing: “Your child is in critical condition. We placed him in an incubator.”
Daniel was informed that the baby was born prematurely and that he needed specialized equipment and constant monitoring.
“You will be able to see him later,” the doctor said, avoiding Emma’s gaze.
The “later” lasted an entire day. Emma was going crazy with worry. She begged to see her son, but they kept telling her that “the baby was too unstable.”
