I took our old dresser out of the trash and decided to transform it. 😊 At first, I didn’t imagine that I would love the result this much. ✨ I’m sure you’ll love my idea too. You’ll find the article in the comments! 👇👇👇
I started the makeover by removing the old material using dish soap and a wire brush.
Then, I repainted the dresser with acrylic paints I ordered from Ozon.
I wasn’t sure about the quality because they were quite expensive.
I began by sanding and degreasing the surface, then proceeded with applying the paint.
For the exterior, I chose a green shade.
I covered the rough joint on top of the dresser by adding wooden moldings.
I fixed them with construction glue and kept them in place with small nails.
To make up for the lack of drawers, I made doors using pre-made moldings.
I reinforced them with brackets and attached them using a stapler.
I chose metal mesh for the panels of the doors, and before fixing them, I painted them gold.
In the end, I used vintage brass handles from my collection to repair the hinges and handles.
And here’s the final result, which everyone loved.
