This story might seem improbable, but a caring cockatoo and a baby are destined to be the best of friends

When the mother of the future child was pregnant, the fluffy white bird named Marni understood what was happening. The cockatoo loved sitting on the young woman’s “egg” to help it hatch better.

It listened to the sound of the portable ultrasound moving over the round belly. Each signal made Marni curious, and it hopped with joy.

One day, as the expectant mother was preparing the baby’s crib, Marni examined every detail, then to test if the bed was comfortable, it fell into it.

When its owner gave it a gentle belly rub that it loved so much, the bird would chirp in thankful response.

Finally, the long-awaited day arrived. The first meeting with little Rémi was a great joy for the bird.

But at first, Marni was a bit jealous because it was no longer the only beloved of the mom. Fortunately, things quickly changed as they started sharing the same toys.

Then the cockatoo became like a caring mother to the tiny one. When Rémi fell asleep, Marni would watch over him.

It made sure Rémi took his bath. Marni would walk slowly on tiptoes while teaching Rémi how to crawl.

They even traveled together, and as a memento, they had adorable family photos.

Rémi’s mother thought that since cockatoos live up to 80 years, the friendship between her son and Marni would be strong and lasting for life.
