An amateur caver has reached the deepest cave in the United States and found a tunnel even lower here. The man tied a rope to the camera and threw the gadget down, simultaneously starting filming. In complete darkness, they began to notice movement and sounds on the video.
Ellison’s Cave is located in Georgia – it is officially recognized as the deepest in the country. The speleologist nicknamed the tunnel found below the Fantastic Failure because he did not see the bottom.
Already the first part of the descent seems like an adventure film. The speleologist had to fasten the rope to a sheer rock; the floor of the cave was located below him at a depth of 128 meters.
Here, in a small patch of free space, it’s time for a real experiment. A speleologist attached a GoPro to the end of a rope to see how deep the hole was.
A small flashlight on the camera made it possible to obtain a passable image. But the further the rope descended, the darker the footage became. At the same time, the sound is also written – the sound of water is clearly distinguishable.
The muffled sound is alarming. And the movement is at the very edge, does someone really live at such a depth,” viewers commented on the video.
With some degree of probability, it can be assumed that there are indeed living beings in the cave. The person has not yet fully examined her.
