Fortunately, firefighters arrived very quickly.
One of them managed to get the elderly doctor out of the car in the nick of time, literally cutting a metal door at the last moment.
Only a few months later did the doctor manage to discover the name of the young firefighter who had saved him.
The man’s name was Chris Trokey. Dr. Michael couldn’t believe what had happened.
In his practice, there weren’t many children saved in nearly desperate circumstances, and he remembered them by name.
Naturally, Chris’s parents remembered the doctor who had returned their son to them in good health.
When all of this became clear, the meeting between the doctor and Chris’s family turned out to be very emotional.
Today, the families of Michael and Chris continue to communicate like very close relatives.
